BSUH Nurseries provide care and education for children between the ages of 6mths to 5 years.

We are seeking a Nursery Assistant Practitioners to join our dedicated and friendly teams to work on an adhoc basis to cover annual leave, staff sickness and to support children with SEND.
Experience working with Babies and Preschool children is essential.
The position is Adhoc Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.45- 17.45

The applicant must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or have appropriate experience working with young children.

As a nursery we are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and committed to caring for young children and babies. Good communicative skills are essential, as team working and strong parent/carer partnership working is paramount.
Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is essential as planning learning experiences for groups of children and individuals will be part of the daily duties.

  • Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
  • Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
