A full range of GI surgery is undertaken with the exception of Hepatobiliary resections with a large volume of advanced laparoscopic procedures undertaken in both Colorectal and Upper GI Surgery for benign and malignant conditions, with plans to build 3 dedicated laparoscopic theatres. The department encourages attendance at as x- ray meetings, journal clubs and academic sessions and there is the opportunity to partake and present research or interesting cases.
